I am very passionate about elevating new social workers to the field. Particularly Black, Indigenous Therapists of Color, since there are so few of us in social work and we have so much to offer. I am a board approved licensure supervisor and I provide a collaborative supervision style that infuses clinical therapy with social justice. When you're able to see and validate the oppression your clients experience, it intuitively makes you a better therapist. Join me!

Supervision

“Lindsay has been my clinical supervisor for over a year and I truly enjoy our supervision time. Lindsay is insightful and helpful in exploring clinical issues with my clients and she is able to help me brainstorm ways to meet client needs that are supportive while promoting forward progress and client growth. During supervision times I am always able to bring up any issues or challenges without any judgment. Lindsay provides a safe space for me to augment my own professional therapeutic skills and provides great resources to enhance my skill building. I also feel able to share any personal challenges that may impact my therapeutic rapport with clients. Being in supervision provides a good way to check my own emotional regulation to ensure the best supportive care for my clients.”

Testimonials

“Lindsay was my clinical supervisor throughout the process of obtaining my independent licensure. She has always exhibited a willingness to see me through to the end of this journey, which was much needed and appreciated. Lindsay's goal was always to help me be as knowledgeable and confident in my clinical skills as possible. She asks the necessary questions to help challenge your thinking while being supportive to your process as a clinician. I really enjoyed the knowledge she has in a multitude of different areas and the comfort she provides in allowing you to ask as many questions as needed. I'm very grateful for her expertise, professionalism, and accessibility which helped me to get to independent licensure.”

“In a profession where those who look like me are few and far between; Lindsay provides a space for authenticity and growth. I am seen for where I am in my practice but also encouraged to seek more for myself and my clients. I have learned so much about “decolonizing” my practice, inclusivity, and providing healing for marginalized  communities through trauma work. There is a comfort in knowing I can seek guidance from someone who continues to challenge the systems who seek to oppress or ostracize. Lindsay is a force inside and outside of the therapeutic environment and engages in all levels of social work. I am grateful for the opportunity to learn from her and I know this experience will be a foundation for the rest of my career!”

“I highly recommend Lindsay Love for your consultation and supervision needs. Lindsay provided some of the clinical supervision I needed to obtain my independent clinical license as a social worker. She was very supportive and gave a lot of helpful advice during this process. Now that I am fully licensed, I still have Lindsay on my list of trusted professionals for consultation. Clinical supervision can sometimes feel intimidating, though I can honestly say that I enjoyed our supervision sessions, never felt judged, and was treated with compassion. I always left our supervision and consultation sessions with useful ideas to support my clients and felt confident in being able to implement her suggestions. Lindsay is professional, knowledgeable, experienced, and a great resource when brainstorming clinical and practice-building ideas. She is aware of systemic and social justice issues that our clients face and incorporates this into her practice. This is important to me as this is a big part of my clinical approach and is something that I look for when seeking out clinical supervision and consultation. She is trained in brainspotting and is a Consultant in Training for EMDR, so she can also be a resource for you if you are using these, and many other, clinical approaches. If you are looking for clinical supervision and/or consultation, I strongly suggest you connect with Lindsay for your clinical development.”
