EMDR THERAPY & CONSULTATION

Lindsay Love, LCSW, is a Certified EMDR Therapist and Consultant who is deeply committed to making EMDR more accessible to historically marginalized communities.

She specializes in supporting clients through racialized and oppression based trauma, disordered eating, sexual trauma, domestic violence, and the inherited wounds of generational harm. Lindsay’s EMDR approach is IFS-informed, grounded in the belief that true healing requires a holistic lens—one that honors all parts of a person, both seen and unseen.

As both a clinical social worker and mentor, Lindsay not only uses EMDR to facilitate deep healing—she also supports diverse therapists in becoming EMDR certified, helping to reshape the field through culturally responsive, justice-rooted care.

“My personal philosophy is that you have to be a phenomenal trauma therapist when you're working with people outside the margins. Anything less risks reinforcing the very harm we’re here to help heal.” – Lindsay Love, LCSW

Because healing shouldn’t just be accessible—it should be transformative, embodied, and rooted in liberation.

Lindsay believes EMDR is not just a clinical intervention, but a return to ancestral ways of healing. She sees EMDR as a modern reflection of practices once held by our ancestors—rooted in rhythm, movement, vision, storytelling, and communal care. These practices were stripped away through colonization and cultural erasure, but Lindsay believes the body still remembers. Her approach integrates somatic practices to support clients in healing the ways trauma shows up in the body. For Lindsay, healing must go beyond cognitive insight; it must include nervous system regulation, embodiment, and a return to the wisdom that has always lived within us.

For clinicians ready to unlearn survival, reconnect with ancestral wisdom, and offer deeper healing to their communities—Lindsay invites you to walk this path with her. Let’s reshape the future of trauma care, together.

“I was in Lindsay's EMDR Consultation Group and feel so thankful for the space she provided. It becomes apparent very quickly how skilled she is in this work and this showed up through her feedback to group members as well as her presentations. I was so nervous about my abilities since my training but she helped me feel more confident by highlighting aspects I do well and providing additional tools. Thank you, Lindsay, for all of your support and guidance!”
